The weekend beginning September the 6th 2002 saw VW Action once again appearing on the show calendar.
The large venue was ideal for VW Action, with around half of the showground dedicated to those wishing to camp over.
The remainder was made up of the main arena, many trade halls, concours area, club displays and entertainment including a fun fair.
For those with kids, 'Children's VWorld' was available to keep them entertainined so the parents could concentrate on more serious business.
Evening events included club DJs, the VW Action Skool Disco and a late night cinema in the Big-Top.
On Sunday we went along to the charity auction which was a huge success and raised lots of money.
The concours contained a wide variety of some of the nicest air-cooled and water-cooled VWs I have seen.
The atmosphere was fantastic and I have heard many positive comments from other people who went.
VW Action has grown to become one of the largest shows around. Lets hope for another great one next year!
